When I was a child

When I was a child, I looked like a boy. I had short hair like boys because my mother thought that short hair made me cute. Therefore, some people thought I was a boy. I remember one day that I went out with my mother, a man told me what a cute boy; come here, I have something for you, but I just stared at him and tried to ingnore him. It was so annoying for me. My parents and sisters knew that I was so sensitive about that issue; thus, they bugged me and told me you are a boy; then, I shouted angrily at them and told them I AM NOT A BOY. Now, when I remember those days, it maks me laugh and wish that I were a child again and had that enjoyable life without any serious pressure.

Frogs

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who
arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the
race and cheer on the contestants....
The race began....
Honestly,no one in crowd really believed that the tiny
frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:
"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"
"They will NEVER make it to the top."
or:
"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too
high!"
The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one....
Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing
higher and higher....
The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one
will make it!"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher....
This one wouldn't give up!
At the end everyone else had given up climbing the
tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort,
was the only one who reached the top!
Then all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to
know how this one frog managed to do it?
A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the
strength to succeed and reach the goal?
It turned out....
That the winner was DEAF!!!!

The wisdom of this story is: Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or
pessimistic.... because they take your most wonderfuldreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart! Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore, ALWAYS be POSITIVE .

Rainbow

I think one months ago, I saw a beautiful rainbow actually a double rainbow ( a reflected rainbow) in Calgary. It was so beautiful. I like rainbow; it is so colorful and remember happy things and a hatch to unknow world. The rainbow's appearance is caused by spreading of sunlight as it is refracted by raindrops. In my language, rainbow is called a bow of colours (Ranginkaman). Although, The traditional description of the rainbow is that it is made up of seven colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, the rainbow is a whole continuum of colors from red to violet and even beyond the colors that the eye can see. On the other hand, in different cultures there are differen stories about rainbow. For example, in Greek mythology, the rainbow was considered to be a path made by a messenger (Iris) between Earth and Heaven and in Irish mythology, the end of rainbow is the place that leprechaun usually hide his treasure.

Stampede

Each year, millions of visitors from around the world come to Calgry to participate in the annual event, the Calgary Stampede ,which is the greatest outdoor show on earth and Exhibition. It has lots of programs such as a real rodeo, a midway (amusement park), concerts, chuckwagon races and more. Calgary Stampede festivites begin with a downtown parade July 7; unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to see it. However, I saw it on TV and also saw it last year. Everythign was very colourful such as people's clothes, old cars, variety of floats and many other things. I saw lots of horses with different jockeies like Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Scottish soldiers, aboriginal people, and hockey players. Beside, I saw dancing and hear variety of music. The word dancing remembers me a memorable day in Stampede. One day that I went for Stampede, I saw people were doing square dancing and I stop to watch them; suddenly, a very nice man asked me to dance with them. I felt embarrassed because I didn't know what to do, but I tried to do my best and it was a great experience. Anyway, I think parade and Stampede are great programs.

Brave New World

I am trying to find a topic and my brain doesn't work. Emm, what sould I write about? Aha, I finally find one. I am going to write about the book that I read for outside reading project. The name of the book is Brave New World and It is about future which people are born and live by scientific methods. People are always happy in this world and they don't feel emotions. Having father and mother is a very strange and embaracing thing in this society. Then John comes form the savage reservation to the new world and he brings with him love, hate, anger, fear. He can't accept the society rules; ultimately, he hung himself. It is a scary world for me. I think that human can't enjoy their lives without passion and family relationships. Sad and happy aspects of life are important for me and interest me to life.

Sneeze

Today, I read an article about how the way that people sneeze can show their personality. The scientists who has been researching about body language believe that people are divied into four groups according to the way that they sneeze:
1-Kind and nice people

2-Trustful people

3-Active people

4-Eager people

People who sneeze once are kind persons and they are interested to protect other people.

People who sneeze loudly are active people; they are decisive and good leaders.

People who use tissue when they are sneezing are trustful, careful, honest, and logical persons.

The last group are people who sneeze several times louldy. These group are eager, and outgoing people. Furthermore, they can influence on others.

The other things that scientists almost assure is the way that people sneeze is hereditary.

This article may be true, but I think this articale is not logical. According to this article, all people in the world have positive characteristics and there are no people with negative aspects. I found that this article is more fun than be a serious issue. By the way, which group do you think that you are?

Sleepy

Right now, it is 11:00 P.M. and I feel so tired and couldn't keep my eyes open becaue I didn't sleep enough during last week. Also, yesterday I didn't use my pericous time to go to bed early; therefore, I went to bed late and got up early for the soccer match between Iran and Portugal. You can gess who won the game? Absolutley, Portugal won, but I am happy with the game that Iranian players did. On the other hand, Iran team failed to reach the 1/8 period.
After I watched the game, I started to do my homeworks and until now I just did halth of them. I have a really bad habit; when I start to study, I just study a little and then do another things such as cleaning my room, checking another websites,...
I tell to myself that I have plenty of time and suddenly I find out the time is near midnight; thus, I have to do my assigments during night. This is the reason that I feel sleepy. I should quite this bad habit and start to orginize my time. Ok, first, I need to sleep and now I am going to bed.
Good Night
