Nothing Special

Right now, I am in Ducette library and I am trying to write my blog, which it should be 12. I just have 8 so I should write 4 more. Ah, What should I write? Ok, I will write about last night. Last night, we had 25 guests for dinner. My mother invited them becaue for our new year. In Iran, friends and relative go to each others houses to say Happy Norooz. We have some rules for this visiting as well. People who are youngest should go to visit their oldest relative first for example I should go to my uncle's house first because it shows my respect to him. On the other hand, oldest people get money as a present to the youngest people. Yeh, I got $50 from my uncle. Anyway, last night we had guests and my mother cooked delicious foods. We had fun but when the guest were gone; the house was quite mess. Ah, my sisters and I stayed up until 3:00 A.M to clean up the home. Right now, I am so sleepy but I have to do my lecture series and study for my reading test. Ok, I think that I have 150 words.

movie

Last night, I watched a horror film which I can't remember the name. Ah, I am trying to remember. Here finally, I found it; Its name is exorcism. I expected to see a very scary movie because my friends told me that this film is scary, but it wasn't very scary. This film is about a 19-year-old college freshman who acts very strange recently and finally, she dies. docotors believe that she has epilepsy and she has to take pills to control her illness. On the other hand, a priest believes that she is controlled by a demon(devil) so he says to her that the pills will not help her. He trys to performe the exorcism of her. Therefore, after Emily's death, police put the priest in the jail becaue they believe that he encorages her to do not eat her drugs. Thus, Emily's illness effects her brain and it causes her death. furthermore, a lowyer trys to prove that he is innocent. I will not explain the rest of the film. If you are curious, you can rent it. Is the priest guilty? Why does demon choose Emily Rose? ha, ha....

Persian foods

Have you ever eaten Persian foods? If you haven't eaten it yet , you should try it. The main part of Iranina food is rice. We have different kinds of rice such as baghalipolo, zereshkpolo and loobia polo.(polo means rice). However, we don't eat only rice; we alway eat rice with another foods. We have a lot of foods and I don't konw how can I describe them. Ok, I am going to talk about my favourite foods. My favorite foods are khoresh ghorme sabzi, khoreshe fesenjon, chello kabab,etc. I don't konw the recipes of these foods but my mother knows and she can cooks very well. Don't think that I am a lazy girl; I can cook another Iranin foods. If you are not sure, you can come to our house and I will cook for you. One of the Iranin favorite beverages is Dogh which is a cold yogurt(the yogurt is different).

On the other hand, we have variety of desserts. I have tryed Canadian desserts as well; Some of them are very delicious but I don't like their cake because the quality of cream is not good. In Iran, cakes are very delicious. I suggest that you should try it if you travel to Iran.
Anyway, I love to try variety of foods. I have eaten Chines, Canadian and one of the Japaness foods since I came to Canada. In the future, I am going to try differen country's foods.

Weekend

I don't know what I can write in my blog. My brain is empty right now and I can't think . Therefore, I am going to write about my weekend because I don't need to think and I just write about what I did on the weekend. On Friday, I went to class as usual and then went back to home. At home, I watched T.V and studied and after that I went to bed at 10:00. So I didn't do anything special on Friday. On Saturday, My family and I went to a party for Iranian new year. Actually, Iranian new year is on Monday but we can't celebrate it in this day because everyone goes to work. Anyway, it was fun; I danced a lot so after we got home around 2:00 A.M I was so tired and I directely went to bed. Finally, sunday which is today, I am trying to do my homework but I get stuck in my group essay. I have to find a quotation about crusade for economy but I can't find and also I have to write a paragraph about how religion effects economy in Iran. Oh, GOD helps me.

Economy in Iran

Iran has some sources but the most important source is oil and gas. Iran is a second country after Russia for supplying gas. The result is that gas and oil is very cheap in Iran. I was shocked when I undestood the price of gas and oil in Canada. However, I wish that my country doesn't have any oil. Many people in the world think that people in Iran are rich but the reserve is true. Recent goverments such as Islamic Republic, Pahlavi and ghajar steel a lot of people's money. Some people in my country are very rich, some of them are in the milddle and some of them are very poor. Iran is a young country, many educated young people don't have any job for example we have a lot of physicians who cannot find any job. On the other hand, in my opinion or maybe in most people's opinions in Iran, foreign countries such as the United State and the United Kingdome always keep Iran in low level. I think that one of the reasons that U.S want to attack in Iran which I hope not is Iran's oil. I know that another reason is about nuclear. For these reason I wish that Iran doesn't have any oil. Have you ever thought Why U.S military still stays in Iraq after Sadam' goverment fell?
Banking systeam is very different in Iran. Credit card is not common in Iran. If you want to travel in this country; you should have money.
Anyhow, this is my opininon about economy in Iran. What do you think? I will be happy if you put any comment and share your opinion.

I am very busy in those days, and I will have busy weeks as well. First, I have to apply for the faculty that I want to study. I get stuck in my application. I don't still make a decision what my second major is, but I have to do it as soon as possible because the due date is April 1.

Second, I have to work on my final essay and presentation about Native people in Canada and my outsid reading project. The book that I chose is Lord of the flies. This a famous book. In an crash plane accident during world war, a group of British boys survive that five boys who their name is Ralph, Piggy, Jack, Roger and Simon are the main characters. In this island, they live like barbaric people and they just worried about feeding themselves. On the other hand, Ralph, piggy and simon announce boys that they could not live in this island forever and they have to make fire to make a noticable sign for sending help. These boys are symboles of civilization and pure. Roger and Jack are symbloe of evil and barbarick; Roger is killed Piggy. Simon and an another boy are killed as well by all boys. At the end of the book, navy soldires save the rest of the boys. This book is not fiction; it has deep meaning. One of the author's theme is that without society rules, savagery can come.
Anyway, I have to prepare my outside reading project and Patrick who is my extensive teacher suggested that I can choose the fifth question. Now, I have to make a story. In Patrick's opinion, it is an eassy question, but it is hard for me because I don't have a good imagination. I will try to do my best.
