I hadn't written a blog after Leap 3 finished. Today I decide to write because writting a blog helps my English skills. I hadn't done anyting special during my vacation. I just slept, watch TV, and read a book that I borrow from the library.
The most exciting part of my vacation was Vancouver. I went to Vacouver with my family. We went with a car; we stayed one night in Salmon city in a very nice cottage. The owners of the house were very kind. In the morning, we went toward Vancouver. One of my parent's friends invited us to stay in her house when we arrived in Vancouver; We knew them from Iran. They were very nice to us. They showed the beautiful parts of Vancouver to us. WOW, Vacouver is very nice in spring. You can see everywhere colorful flowers and different kind of trees. Depite of those things, I still like to live in Calgary more than in Vacouver because Calgary has sun and I love sun. Vacouver is a rainy city and I can't live without sun for a long time.

Finish

This is my last blog. This week is the end of the Leap 3 and after that we have one month off. I have no idea what I am going to do in this month. Maby I will look for job and work this month and save money. Although I had a lot of homework to do, it took my time. If I don't do anything, I feel useless. Ok, I have no idea what I can write right now. Now, it is 4:45 P.M righ now and I am talking with my sister. Today, it is a sunny day. I like sun a lot; sun gives me energy. The weather in this year is very good because I heard frome others that in the pervious years they had much more snow. I am lucky that I came to Canada this year but maybe next year the weather will be crazy which I hope not. Yeh, I count my words and now I have 155 words which means the end of my last blog. I know that my last blog doen' t have any coherence; sorry about that. I just want ot finish my blog.

Porfolio

Tomorrow I have to hand in my portfolio which is about my progress during semester. I think that I have learnt alot. First, I hadn't known about the rules of essay. We have to write an introduction, three bodies paragraph and conclusion in an essayand we have different styles to write an essay as well. I learnt three ways which were chronological, campare and comparison, and cause and effect for writing an essay in this semester. There are many other ways that I have learnt for writing an essay such as paraphrase and citation. Second, I have learnt how to read an article without looking at dicsionary too much and my academic vocabularies has improved too. Finally, my presentation and listening skills has improved. I know that I have to work very hard to improve whatever I learnt in Leap 3. I am really appreciate from Shannon, Patrik and Sally. They are very good instructors. They are alway patient and do theri best for theri student. I wish the best things for them and my classmates. Thak you for eveything.

Earthquake

Right now, it is 1:25 A.M and I am trying to write another blog. Yesterday I heard that an earthquake happened in Iran. Seventy people were killed in this disaster. It is a very bad death especially when you get stuck beneath ground. Many people and kids lost their family and thier houses and properties. This earthquake remember me a magnitude 6.6 earthquake that happened in city of Bam in southeastern Iran. 31,000 people died in this earthquake because it happened in the night; therefore, people didn't have time to save themselves. Ah, it was very sad whenever I remember this I cry for my compatriots whose miss many things in this disaster. On the other hand, Bam had a historica city which was made from mud. It was very beautiful, but it devastated in the earthquake. Now, gvorment is trying to rebuild it. However, it can be like the perviou shape.
Anyhow, I hope that nobody experiences earthquake. I wish you best things from god for people who missed everything especially their family in the earthquake.
